  • Anne

    Certified Pilates Instructor

A Chicago native and Colorado mountain girl at heart, Anne made her way to the beach ten years ago to attempt surfing. Anne believes that exercise should be fun, challenging and more than just the exercises. She began her journey into teaching in 2010 as a 200RYT Certified Yoga instructor through Shiva Rea. Not too long after, Club Pilates moved in down the block and she fell in love. The changes in her strength were immediate. Not only did her yoga practice improve and get stronger, so did her posture, confidence and (most importantly) her skiing. She completed the 500 hour training through Club Pilates in 2013. You can find her singing and dancing in the Encinitas studio, but make no mistake, you will work hard while still having fun. She loves to see the smiles on people’s faces and the difference from when they walked through the door.

  • Arielle

    Certified Pilates Instructor

Arielle came to San Diego to attend USD and never looked back. She had always dreamed of living at the beach in SoCal. After getting her Bachelors degree in Business, she worked at many office jobs that created no passion or drive in her and she knew she was made for something more. Arielle was hit by a car in 2009 on her bicycle which led to a severe neck injury which later created more pain down her whole spine. The good news is, that’s how she found Pilates! The feeling in her body was so amazing after her first session, she knew she had to learn more. After only 5 private sessions and one group class, she signed up for Teacher Training at the first and original Club Pilates with the Founder, Allison Beardsley. Arielle taught 8-10 sessions a day and helped Allison run her studio while Allison was having babies and they created a close bond. When Arielle decided to open her own studio in Encinitas, Allison said, “Hey, why not call it Club Pilates and you’ll have the North and I’ll have the South regions of San Diego?”. So there it all began...! And 11 years later there’s now over 500 locations in America with 200 more expected to open. Currently, Arielle loves mentoring teachers and teachers in training while fitting in her private students, some classes and overseeing the business in between chasing after her new baby girl.

  • Elizabeth

    Certified Pilates Instructor

Liz's love of Pilates began in 2014, within the first few classes she attended. Liz had signed up for these classes, curious to see how Pilates could help her strengthen a back injury she had been dealing with for several years. Liz found it amazing to feel the strength and flexibility it brought to her movements. It brought a deep awareness of mind/body connection, and she loved using the sense of proprioception with the practice. In 2016, Liz retired from a Flight Attendant career of many, long years! She immediately joined the Club Pilates Teacher Training program and studied daily to become an Instructor. One of Liz's strongest passions is teaching. Liz strives to be that Instructor that inspires you, who motivates you and who lets you know ,"you can do this". Liz comes from an athletic back ground of marathons, triathlons, and body building. She holds certifications for Aerobics, Personal Training, Spin, Advanced Yoga, and Boxing. A few of Liz's goals as a Pilates Instructor are to bring forth her energy and commitment to help others see the benefits of personal knowledge, strength, and application to a practice they can develop, and achieve to better health, feeling good! Her time spent away from teaching is spent on her own personal Pilates practice and her study of Ballet, which is a goal She has wanted to achieve since the age of four, and has recently started to dance! Liz stays very involved with her beautiful family, especially the four superstars of her life, her grandchildren.

I have been teaching Pilates since August 2012. I obtained my certification after completing a comprehensive 500 hour training program at Club Pilates in San Diego. I love teaching and sharing the amazing benefits of Pilates. I was first introduced to Pilates during physical therapy for a back injury and have never felt stronger. When I am not teaching Pilates I am working on establishing myself as a Health Coach. Educating people about the benefits of eating a healthy diet and living a balanced life. I also love to travel and spend time with my dog.

  • Nicole

    Certified Pilates Instructor

Nicole has been teaching at Club Pilates since 2012. With a background in competitive sports and running, repetitive motions and old injuries made enjoying these activities increasingly challenging. She found her passion for Pilates when searching for a more functional exercise for maintaining longevity while complimenting her love for sports and running. Transitioning from client to teacher was an easy decision. Nicole found that one of her favorite parts of teaching is being able to help others to continue to participate in the activities they love, whether that be competitive training or simply walking their dog. Nicole has two sons and enjoys spending time with them at the beach surfing with their dad or in the mountains skiing and snowboarding. And, of course, lots of time at their games and practices.

  • Samira

    Certified Pilates Instructor

I moved to San Diego about 13 years ago from Toronto. This move brought me many big changes in my life. I left behind my work, my friends, my home and my family. I started becoming more introverted since I did not know anyone in SD except, of course my husband; the love of my life. I practiced yoga for meditation and reaching inner peace, but I knew right away that something was missing. Yoga of course soothed me, but I needed more with my emotions going through the full range of ups and downs. BY luck, I noticed Club Pilates on Groupon, and I said to myself, I should give it a try. Everything at Club Pilates was different; the ambience was much more lively and joyful. I noticed the constantly happy and smiley faces and felt the energy in the air. Every time I leave Club Pilates, I feel polished physically and spiritually. The beauty of this place is that everyone is always welcomed. Yet more, you can come as yourself with no need for any masks.
